31. Katie Porter's email list is hell on the internet.

Mar 2024

My mother has dementia and can no longer read her email. I monitor her account.

At some point in December, somehow, she got on Katie Porter's email list. (Obviously, Mom did not make a donation.)

Katie emails Mom every day, sometimes twice or more per day. Sometimes the FROM field says "Katie Porter." Others say "Team Katie Porter." And then there's "Katie Porter for California", "Katie Porter HQ", "Lacie (KP's campaign manager)", "Paul (KP's son)", "Eric, Katie, Pourobee (Katie Porter Finance Team)", "Katie Porter’s Whiteboard". All the names have the return address info@mail.katieporter.com.

I love Katie and her whiteboard, but this sullies her.

And now, AOC is doing it every day under different, but similar name permutations.

The DLCC is now emailing her, but not every day.

This week, Sherrod Brown and Martin Heinrich have joined the party.

Imagine what it would be if an actual donation had been made.
