(1,867 posts)43. In 2000, Florida pulled lists of convicted felons from Texas
to prevent convicted felons from that state from voting in the presidential election. When the firm auditing the process pointed out that some of the people in Florida who had similar names to the Texas felons weren't actually the same people (different dates of birth, SS#'s, etc.), Katherine Harris ordered that those Florida voters be removed from the rolls anyway.
I suspect that the state will be far more lenient with the out of state felon concept when Trump votes from Mar a Lago in November.
