In reply to the discussion: New York Times Editorial Board Calls for Biden to Step Aside [View all]mountain grammy
(27,864 posts)112. Nope, they're in it to win it.. for trump.
They could have given Biden the benefit of the doubt, that he wasn't up to par, that he was obviously under the weather. That trump did nothing but lie and Biden was prepared to debate but there wasn't a debate. He was blindsided. Thought you guys behind the scenes were supposed to not let that happen.
Honestly, I think any Democrat would have been blindsided, Biden was not at his best for sure but that was enough said, step down? Bullshit.
For our news media, it's all about ratings and trump delivers. why don't they pick apart everything that came out of the lying mouth of trump. That's what every editorial should be about. "I know Putins' dreams" not a whisper about that.
This was NOT a debate.

It's risky at this point, you are right. I'd go beyond "dumb" and say "incredibly risky."

Good point about them not asking former President and convicted felon Trump to step aside. However, I'm afraid that

I don't think people decided their votes based on editorials in the 20th century either

I didn't necessarily mean that people decided their votes based on editorials,

The same editorial says they'd still easily pick Biden over Trump if those are the choices...

Thank you for pointing that out! And they also published a record long article of his years of tax invasion

You might want to actually read the editorial, if you think they are "all in with Cheato."

Doesn't cost them anything to try and push out the best candidate to beat Trump.
