perhaps the solution is to ignore them. Stop responding to them. Stop giving them the space and attention that they seek. They are tenacious, even after EarlG did an excellent job of laying out political reality in his OP. The tenacious ones challenged him on that thread, too.

To be that tenacious suggests that they are on a mission of some sort, or, at best, they just aren't able to see the reality of the larger picture.

I check their posting history and profile, too, to get a better picture of where they are coming from.

It's good to get a variety of opinions but if OPs continually push division and negative views of Dem leaders, then there is always the "trash thread" option. We shouldn't let ourselves get bogged down in arguments with them. There are other things to discuss, like how to get Biden elected and give him a good Dem Congress to work with.
