more rapidly than normal. Look at pictures of Obama before and after - it's as if he aged a decade per term. And in Lincoln's last photos he looks a lot older than 56 (yes, he was that young when he died). After dealing with Covid, reactionary Republicans in Congress, relations with Israel and the rest of the Middle East and all the rest I'm not as familiar with I'm surprised Biden doesn't look 150!

That said, using my 20/20 hindsight, it may have been better if he had set out to be a one-term president and retire at the top of his game, knowing that there was a strong and diverse group of Democrats ready to step into his shoes. But that would have made him a lame duck president for at least a year.

I don't know all the details, so I can't say. The only advice I can offer Biden now is that he puts VP Harris more in the spotlight, and start delegating more to her.
