If you make $1000/week... and spend $800 /week on bills...

And then go up to $1200/week and $1000/week in bills...

The standard response is "I bust my ass for an extra $200 and it gets ripped off by inflation"

So this line of argument is worthless for working folks.

People believe they're supposed to "get ahead" in life with time and have more money left over
