Next in line Sonny Corleone (Vance) tips his hand in negotiations with another family (Heritage Foundation) that he favors a deal The Don (Trump) is against (Trump recently called 2025 radical right). If you’ve seen the movie you know what happens next. The Heritage Foundation has promised bloodshed if 2025 isn’t passed. In the meantime Trump might want to avoid outdoor fruit markets.

Bannon has spoken about MAGA beyond Trump. Trump has been great for MAGA, sure. Hell of a kickoff for them. But Bannon’s thinking indicates they are likely going to need someone else to carry the ball over the goal line.
