My hubs is a veteran and he is going to an outside for his teeth because the VA is BUSY. He also had to go to the hospital couple years ago when got sick and they took care of that too. Granted on the last one I finally convinced him to go to MedEx and they called the rescue squad for him while I was sitting in the lot waiting for him. They wanted him on an IV immediately.
So yes, the VA helps where they can at times.
