7. Ukraine had to do something to change the current trajectory.

They've having a tough time in the east and while they've fought bravely, smartly, and creatively, Ukraine is starting to be hurt by manpower shortages. There were a lot of foreign volunteers in the early days of the war. Ukraine could use that kind of help right now.
