Only tonight I have been pondering how to deal with contemptuous, disrespectful, and cruel bullies without returning the same toward them only to result in continuing the cycle. Egged on by the amoral media.
I have concluded that the course you are taking is one of the good solutions. Do something different that’s happy and positive. Deprive these ever escalating bullies and their enablers the attention and control they crave.
Seriously, it’s the equivalent of a kid saying, “You’re mean and weird. This is no fun. I’m going to go do something else.” It drives them crazy while you grow.
