Is he going to expect those women and the children under their care to just move back in with the nearest male family member and be his dependant to care for as well as his own wife and children? Or do they just check into the nearest workhouse where they and their children to become drones of the state? Along with any elderly people who are no longer "productive" and don't have enough money saved or invested to live independently.
Because that's pretty much the logical outcome of the current Republican policy.
You either pay for the privilege to survive comfortably, or you become a short-lived drone to be punished for being born poor (or disabled, or a female or person of color, without talent or a support structure in place).
It's all about the "cost" to the increasingly mediocre elite a person brings with them, not the quality of any particular individual. The GOP does not value anything. It's all transactional.
