12. There a little late when it comes to worrying about who they nominated for governor.

When their candidate stands in front of a church congregation, with the church elders on one side and the choir on the other, and says, "some folks need killing", it might have an adverse affect on his electability.
Now, they say he was quoted out of context, that he was talking about Nazi's and the Japanese in WWII.

But, we know that was just a way to sanitize and justify his call to kill the enemies of the people...whoever they are. I suspect they're the people the Republicans want us to fear and hate, like immigrants and left wing liberal Democrats.
He didn't say who they were, but the implications are pretty clear he was referring to political and cultural enemies.
Not exactly a viewpoint held by the majority of North Carolina voters.
