...I really don't see how a debate would matter.

The difference between to two candidates is clear to anyone who has been watching, so tonight will just be both candidates preaching to their respective choirs unless people who don't "do" politics watch it.

Hopefully, people who weren't thinking much about it might tune in tonight and see there's a reason to vote this year.
