34. God I hope you're right.

I’m cautiously hopeful but the stakes are so damned high I can hardly think about it. And yet it’s all I can think about. I watched that madman today spewing his poison about immigrants and it looked like a Nazi rally. The hate is palpable. And we just have to try to judge what’s real and what’s one big old mass hysteria that both isn’t as big as they want us to think and isn’t capable of real action.

It can’t come soon enough.
