I doubt he bought a new truck. It’s probably an old used truck that either he , or his parents, bought him for a couple thousand bucks that they found on Craigslist.
He was between 10 and 14 years old when Trump was in office, so they don’t remember the bad tweets, the mismanagement, the firings, etc.
They hear their parents talk about cheap gas, 0% finance charges, and pre inflation housing prices.
I sold our 30 year old ranch house, in Mid Wisconsin, in 2017 for $115,000. That same house, seven years later, goes for $190,000. - $200,000. That is what these kids are seeing!
So let’s not rage on them about better choices in vehicles, and instead see the hopelessness he sees for his future.
