As we grow older, our bodies and minds do not necessarily show the signs of increasing age at the same rate. For some, the mind starts to go earlier. For others, various bodily functions start to go haywire while the mind is still sharp and clear. Incontinence can be related to physical decline, mental decline, or both.

All of the diaper-related "humor" about Trump that has proliferated at DU during this election cycle (and the underlying assumption that it's a sign of his mental decline) is very tiresome, and has become even more so as as it has continued to crop up with greater and greater frequency.

I have stayed silent until now, because I felt that complaining would be futile. My reaction to reading your comment is telling me that this issue has been bothering me more than I realized.

I would absolutely LOVE it if no one here ever made another incontinence "joke" about TSF again, but I know better than to hold my breath. Thanks for giving me an opening to air my feelings about this issue.
