...intelligent, incisive and decent to pass up.

His way of cutting through an argument recommends him highly as SOS.

I would love to see him become the first gay President since Jamed Buchanan, though clearly he'd be infinitely more competent.

(I've read so as to believe it that Woodrow Wilson was bisexual.) As is the case with Buchanan, I'm sure Pete would be a far better President than either Buchanan or Wilson.
