He has no reason to "opine" that, unless he has already decided it doesn't fit the narrative he is pushing.

Hey Mark! Here's a clue. If Donnie Dipshit claims he was "going to the Congo to live and care for the poverty stricken children", that you can "not believe"...but this is entirely consistent with Donnie Dipshits character.
