I was at an ATM one time and a guy in his 50s basically leaned over my shoulder and commented on how much money I was withdrawing. There was nobody else around and I hadn't heard him creeping up on me so I startled pretty badly and pushed him away.

He got pissed saying it was just a joke and not be so sensitive and then stalked off but come the fuck on? How hard is it to understand that women deal with constant harassment and the threat of violence and it's not acceptable for any reason to creep up into their personal space and impose on their time and attention no matter how clever and funny you think you're being. That's doubly true when they're doing something where they would have an expectation of privacy like withdrawing cash, voting or coming out of a public toilet.

Just no, my dudes. Apply common sense and courtesy.
