Until they don't. When the consumer can no longer afford to "foot the bill" they don't buy anymore. And then the business goes out of business.

It's my belief that one of the main differences between the corporate oligarchs and the reich-wing oligarchs is that the corporate oligarchs know that they can only squeeze so many golden eggs at a time out of the consumer goose and want to keep the squeezing that allows their lifestyle going. The reich-wing oligarchs are either ignorant or just don't care. They want all of the damn eggs now and they want to roast the goose as well.
