159. I feel a lot like you.

I am also in Texas, but a few years away from retirement. I had a discussion about hate with my son today, via text messages. I told him that I really just care about our immediate family right now, nothing else. I don't care if the economy tanks, in fact, I want it to. I don't care if they cut programs like food stamps because it would affect red state citizens 's more anyway. Farmers in rural America didn't remember what tariffs did to them the first time around. Let them learn the hard way, but this time, no bail out.

I want nothing to do with anyone that voted for trump, which includes other family members, close friends and in-laws. His reply was that it sucks that these results make us feel that way and he was starting to feel the same way. I told him, that was the worst part of this election, it making us feel that way. It is making me be someone I don't want to be, but I can't stop it.
