In reply to the discussion: I lost my shit and got myself banned from Twitter [View all]Mark.b2
(515 posts)8. Wow! It must have been a doozy!
Its much harder to get banned nowadays than it used to be.
Im on my fourth userid on Twitter. Ive managed to keep my current one for over two years.
I think they used to be more responsibe to tattletales than they are now.
Once I was banned for commenting on Sarah Huckabees weight
multiple times. Another time, I recieved repeated warnings over posting a contrarian opinion based on personal experience regarding a particular COVID topic. Admittedly, I got pissed after a warning, and I kept pushing the envelope. I dont recall specifically what I did, but it had to do with COVID, too.
Now, I dont think tattletales carry as much sway. Also, I think there are fewer people on X who are compelled to police others.
