In reply to the discussion: Joe, execute your fucking power [View all]TheKentuckian
(26,314 posts)114. You can include violence for all I care. Fair game just be forthright about it and what it means.
You were demanding powers be used to stop the takeover so I'm confused why the first thing has nothing to do with that but student loan forgiveness but a new magical kind the courts cannot reverse.
Then some ignoring of Congress to get things done which largely would have no force of law or could be instantly reversed so talking loud but doing nothing.
This also does nothing to.address the original root issue.
All the anguish through the thread and the end game was actually a magic goodie and hollow chest beating of an impotent lame duck playing at dictator for a television audience?
POWERS!!!

I don't think it's performative if you can delay the Dreamers getting the bum's rush out of the country. Tie things up.

I know that. I was suggesting it as a delay tactic. At this point it might get them to a sane Congress in 2 years.

Guess I'm just not seeing how issuing fraudulent paperwork helps or even delays anything.

Doesn't seem realistic that Joe would declare the election null and void and refuse to leave.

Issuing pardons to all the generals involved in the Afghanistan War is not a terrible idea.
