I have no idea what goes through an immigrants mind. The things you mention might be a fair trade off to them. After all, those things you mention, are rights we have learned to take for granted. That doesn’t mean they share the same learned values.

I would wager (to use your analogy) if enough people feel as though they can’t get in to see the movie because of line jumpers, they may very well say “burn it down.”

However, back to the op. I was just offering up my observations. I’ll leave the fortune telling to others.
