Interview with a Trumper [View all]

A couple of days ago, I got a call from my grandson (the Trumper) who said he need to talk to me. I was not home so I called him when I returned. He came over a little later. He needed a substantial loan to get his car out of the repair shop; his share of the insurance job.
I finally decided to cooperate, dialog follows:
Me: Well, I guess I can pony up the cash, but, You KNOW you're going to have to take some shit.
Grandson" Yeah, I figured I would"
The first thing I want to know is, Wouldn't Trump answer your call? I thought he was gonna fix it.
Grandson: Silence accompanied by sappy grin
Me: How is it that you support Trump, but still knew that when an ordinary working man needs some help, his best shot is to find a Democrat?
Grandson:" More silence. Grin somewhat diminished."

Explanatory note.
Just wanted to make it clear that I used much more colorful appellations when referring to TSF.
