The GOP initiated shakedowns last time we listened to shrill, hateful noise about tariffs and deportations. Basically some businesses got “exemptions” from tariffs while their competitors got raided by the INS. Why did some get exemptions? Follow the money incoming to various GOP fronts.

We have been told by the GOP repeatedly that everybody has to pay them to play and failure to do so will result in state sanctioned punishment. Listen. Some GOP frontman says this just about everyday.

We watched this extortionist grift play out in Florida with Disney within everybody’s short term memory.

No doubt this is a grift that will cause real pain and suffering. That too is welcomed by today’s GOP. Nonetheless, the primary purpose is grift.

*wing nut welfare is a gop institution that runs throughout our supposedly charitable sectors. Wingnut “charities” help billionaires, buy adherents cheaply and work to destroy just about everything that makes America great.

Why? The easier to rob our country many people do say.
