The substance is clear enough. This was a weaponized prosecution, and for a person whose crimes were a drug habit and not checking the right box on a gun permit for a weapon he never used, the consequences have already been extreme. Any reasonable person would say that Hunter has more than paid the price for the things he did. And there is no evidence that Joe interfered with ANY of that, as extreme and unprecedented as it was.

Now, we were looking at the prospects of Trump with his cabinet of crazies adding 4 more years of hell and enormous expense to the punishment that has already been dealt. As a practical matter, this is a no-brainer. Take that away from Trump.

As far as optics go, that is just a Beltway thing. I don't believe anybody else cases. It is not like Joe is letting a mass murderer, or even serial sexual offender, loose on the public. I hope Biden's end-of-term actions don't stop here. Let's get the full Epstein file put into the public domain, as well as the unredacted Mueller report, and Jack Smith's complete findings.
