18. United Healthcare has been negotiating contracts this fall.

I don't know how many people were affected. My wife is covered by United and if her doctors' health care system hadn't reached an agreement with United - literally at the last minute - none of her doctors or their hospital would be in network. She would have had to find all new doctors and go to different clinics and hospitals OR pay thousands and thousands more for her care.

United did this to health care systems across the nation this fall.
