That is just my guess, based upon the wearing of the mask and planned getaway.
On the other hand, a professional would know that cameras catch everyone's movements outside the hotel. The killer in this particular case spent an extended length of time milling around in front of the hotel, which is something one would think that a professional hit man would avoid doing.
