...maybe an adjustment to that, since most of what we go on in our representations of god is faith in something unseen and unknown, and other people's accounts of it all.
Try to take things a bit at a time, and not all at once. Focus on yourself and what you want out of life, apart from politics and politicians. Steel yourself against these cretins in whatever way you can, but also steel yourself against despair over political outcomes. It's a worthless emotion, whatever the cause.
Politics isn't most our lives, and I hope you can find separation from the worst of it all to focus on your own needs and interests outside of this political conundrum. It's eternal, but we're not.
