Sunday

when Carter was attending. Both were engineers. Dad had graduated from college in 43. He was in the V-12 program, spending about 4 months at Annapolis over the winter of 43-44. He never met Jimmy, but was slightly aware of him. Dad served on a LST, an ensign later LTjg. He was present in Tokyo for the surrender. He passed in 2011.
