Jimmy Carter was the first president I could vote for [View all]

He was a good man who rose to power following very difficult years for the United States.

His presidency was a mixed bag, mostly due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, but as a man and a leader, President Carter is without peer.

In one way, it is comforting that he passed away while President Biden is still in office because President Carter's life will be respected by this administration.

Rest peacefully, sir. Thank you for your lifetime of service to good causes.
