23. I guess the question is how soon is soon?

I'm not sure this is anything more than a power grab. If it's motivated by the realization that finite resources are dwindling, it would make sense to try to get rid of democracy. Get the people used to being told what to do, so when the shit hits the fan they have no expectation that any help is coming.

But in the end they want rich people richer, poor people poorer. The DEI stuff is just a way to keep people hating each other.
