Please understand that you are not being called a liar or even anything near that.

The Mandela effect describes the phenomenon of an public event being recalled incorrectly by a vast majority of folks who experienced it in real time.
No malfeasance, not even ignorance or forgetfulness.

What many of us saw on video was Trump , I believe alongside Don Jr and his girlfriend, smiling and enjoying themselves backstage at his rally. It was them watching the other speakers before he went on stage Jan 6.

As for during the hours the Capitol was under attack, he was inside the Whitehouse/ residence. That would be when various people were pleading with him to "call it off" , but instead (we learned through the January 6 committee hearings) he only watched it happen.
