We had some Toyotas a long time ago. I have not test driven them yet. They are definitely more in demand but also more expensive as you said. I’m still not sure yet if I will be buying used or new. I’m going to have to downsize my car if I buy new, which I don’t want to do because I’ve driven midsize larger sedans, and it saved my life in accidents.

My current car is 6 cylinder which I prefer, but most only have 4 cylinder now.
