General Discussion

Nuclear weapons require a lot of maintenance and upkeep. Two things the Germans have shown to be incapable or unwilling to do with their conventional military since the end of the Cold War. They have shortages of the most basic equipment, like radios, guns, and ammunition. They have maybe a 300-400 modern tanks, many of which aren't operational due to lack of parts. Their navy is small and their air force, as of a few years ago, had over half their pilots unable to meet Nato minimum flight hours due to their aircraft being down for repairs.
