16. We had a much bigger turnout than we expected, on our busy local street corner.

My Indivisible group has set up there to hold protest signs ever since the donald was first elected. It’s usually been sporadic Saturday afternoons for an hour. And there have been people driving by and honking their approval. But THIS past Saturday, WOW! From the moment we assembled, they were honking, and soooooooo many! MUCH bigger and more enthusiastic response than ever before!

Our group was bigger, too. Usually it’s been a handful of us - 3 or 4. But this past Saturday, SEVENTEEN!!! I couldn’t believe it! And from two other groups besides our Indivisible regulars! I’m pretty much a regular at these things, too, and I was really surprised! Never saw this much support - and ALL enthusiastic! We may make it a weekly thing, like we did during Election season. Hey, ANY outward signs are good! The solidarity and comradeship certainly was!

Maybe it’s the start of a new trend? Dunno but I’ll report back after the next one, which I think (and hope) will be next Friday.
