I used to work at DCA, Washington National Airport, and at the end of the night if people had missed flights, I'd rebook them for the next one which would be the next day, then tell them to take the public bus home and come back tomorrow for the flight. You'd be shocked at how many men who were at least 6 feet tall who were terrified of riding the public bus. Excuse me? You are the one supposed to protect me if things go wrong??? Yes, you. Take the bus. I do every single day, and nothing bad ever happened to me. And I'm a five foot one inch tall female. So if I can take the bus, trust me, you can also.

Honest to god, I NEVER had an adult man, a service member, willing to take the public bus in DC. Made me VERY concerned that these men could possibly protect me if things went wrong.

Men simply aren't as strong as they pretend, an are terrified of trivial things. Like public busses. Really?
