And one step at a time. Welcome him into the light with open arms ...but now he needs to make the phone calls to whoever his Rep is, and tell his conversion story. When enough Republicans have the word "former" in front of their party name, their congressperson will listen up. They've got a pretty thin margin & can't lose anyone.

I was always taught that conservatives were always "Status Quo". But the point they want to be in NOW is in the 1860's.
