Let’s stick with named people here.

You have named 3 Progressives who went MAGA and claim that it was due to the attention they got from criticizing Democrats, while ignoring that each has a complicated history. AOC has been principled and consistent all along. The idea that she would throw everything she believes in away for your fantasy that she would get more attention as a MAGA is preposterous. I’m sad for you that you don’t think there are politicians who actually care about doing good in the world. If you can’t see it in AOC, I don’t think you’ll find it anywhere.

There is a real debate among Dems about how to push back against an unprecedented coup attempt. The debate must be had. How can you accuse people who are putting their lives at risk to save democracy of being selfish attention seekers? This isn’t about a few careers. We are trying to save America.
