General Discussion
In reply to the discussion: Wil Wheaton perfectly described Musk. [View all]If you are looking for well known ones, he narrates the novel versions of 'The Martian' and 'Ready Player One' both of which were made into major movies.
But where I learned to love him was on John Scazi books. If you are unfamiliar with him, he writes a blend of science fiction and alternate near history that has a strong snarky tone. Both in the embodiment of wisecracking characters and as a nod to inside jokes with the reader. He is one of my favorite authors and his style pairs perfectly with Wheaton.
As an example, 'Redshirts' is the story of a Star Trek like mission where the crew starts to realize they are alien bait.
Or 'Agent to the Stars' where an invading alien race just needs a good PR firm
My favorite is probably 'Lock-in' where a disease leaves a segment of the population dependent on remote controlled robotic bodies
