1. Misfire. No one knows what an oligarchy is.

Imo, it's more like a left/right plutocracy (rich rule), competing for power with and demagoguing a left/right ochlocracy (mob rule). We're aiming for democracy.

Bernie's and AOC's hearts are in the right place, usually a bad sign if you want to make actual progress. We need to focus on fair-minded, manners-obeying, "reasonable work ethic" people living in prosperity, good health, and peace. A fair share will organically follow from that focus. Leading with "fair share" arguments and billionaire bashing feels good, but it's ineffective. That approach only strengthens opposition. It appeals in equal parts to resentment and "sweetie-pie-ness," the former threatening, the latter nauseating.
