64. Back in the mid-70s, my father "smuggled" a few firecrackers back from Canada

Thursday

on our vacation there. We did Niagara Falls and such.

They were indeed legal in Canada, but illegal in Michigan at that time, and a long time thereafter.
(Can't speak for other state's laws..)
