9. Did anyone see the ads the Republicans were running in the last couple weeks?

Their own polls must have told them they were losing, because they pulled out all the stops, showing Trump's face and mentioning him repeatedly--more often than the candidate himself (Brad Schimel). It was clear that whoever was actually running for the position was immaterial; they were simply a stand-in for Trump.

The ads ended on a really weak note--something about the "trickle down" policies of the Trump regime. If you parsed this with even a slight amount of critical thought, it became clear that what was really being said was "you peasants had better vote for this stuffed-shirt of ours, or you won't even get the few scraps we deign to throw your way!". It's really dumb to bring back Reagan-style "voodoo economics" (aka the "trickle-down" theory) after 40 years of historical experience showing that it doesn't work!
