The average tariff on coffee producing countries is around 40%. If all of that gets passed on Starbucks will be paying something like 40% more for coffee beans. But beans are only a fraction of the cost serving a cup of coffee. Wages, electricity, the premises account for the lions share of the cost. At most a 5-dollar coffee at Starbucks will be 6 dollars a cup.
