Even the Starbucks blonde isnt a real light roast its a medium roast.
I like light roast except for certain brands like bustelo and 8o clock they taste good at a darker roast. I love light roast ceremony brand coffee.
I also do the salt on top of the grinds. I learned it from a 4 star chef that was on the psych unit with me. She told me to try it after the coffee on the psych unit made me wince and shiver it was so bitter. So adding salt was a revelation.

I just looked those up ( I use occasionally too in the afternoon) and it doesn't look good

Which is why I buy 2 liter plastic bottles of caffeine free diet cola at Walmart for a buck. n/t

I don't like 2-liter bottles because they go flat if you dont drink them fast.
