I concede that you haven’t said “enemy”, I just made that inference from your simplistic you’re either with us or against us GW level reasoning. If you wanted to engage my statement rather than just repeat yourself, you failed. There is no purity police issue here, I hope due process rights for US citizens is seen as foundational to the Democratic Party platform. I don’t see how calling out silent democrats helps the republicans on this issue. The term “purity police” is generally used by those who would sacrifice the marginalized civil rights for a perceived better end. I’m not even saying that the perfect isn’t usually the element of the good. Trump’s statements today touch all of our rights. I don’t see the good in not holding our reps accountable in their reactions. Let the politicians defend themselves and let us share ideas.
