(1,812 posts)No one is saying the Dems are the problem. You continue to conflate wanting the Dems to fight back harder/differently with saying Dems are the problem. Trump is the problem, the GOP enabling him is the problem, and I want my party fighting back harder.
AOC and Bernie have the right idea, and it's starting to resonate (30,000 showed up in Folsom, CA last night.) Cory Booker had the right idea with his marathon filibuster. Dem Representative Al Green, who stood up and protested at the SOTU, had the right idea. The House Dems who stood in silence while holding up bingo paddles had the wrong idea. AOC, Bernie, Cory Booker, and Al Green all protested from a position of active strength, not weak passive symbolism. It is our duty as Democrats to let the leaders we voted for hear our voices.
Complaining about how your party does or doesn't fight back against what another party is doing is not the same as saying your party is the problem.
