(5,862 posts)14. Unfortunately I fear he is doing an excellent job of destroying things.
I think he has an obsessed following who will support him and his no matter what. Trump is doing an excellent job of keeping all eyes on himself even as he gets crazier and crazier. Maybe that's the point. All we see us the damage in front of us, which is considerable. We don't see the damage being done behind the scenes. Maybe these people aren't the brightest, but they are obsessed and that, I fear makes up for a lack of intelligence. However this chapter comes out our country will never be the same. The hope I have is that this insanity will push us to do better and we will be a better country and better people for it. Some days I think I'm whistling in the wind.
