We don't really know who is the power behind him. But the radical Republicans, the magas, play the long game and don't give up. What seems to be happening quickly now has likely been planned for years.
Meanwhile, Democrats have failed to be vigilant in protecting the nation against what has happened. We have been complacent and overconfident that what is happening now could never happen here. Until it does.
